Orlando playdate teaches King David kids lessons in kindness and giving

The children, brought to the school by the Nashua Children’s Charity Foundation, spent the morning playing on the jungle gyms, enjoying a challah snack, and homemade biscuits. They were warmly welcomed by the King David kids, and they immediately started playing and having fun in the garden.

During the month of Elul it is traditional to increase our levels of tzeddakah (charity), viewed as protection against evil for the giver, and the Jewish people as a whole.

The children learnt a valuable lesson that no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted, and giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference.
