KDVP marks Holocaust Remembrance Day

This was the day that Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest concentration and death camp, was liberated by Russia’s Red Army in 1945. The United Nations thereafter declared it as the day to honour the memory of Holocaust victims, thereby also encouraging education programmes to prevent future acts of anti-Semitism and genocide.
