The Women’s International Zionist Organization of South Africa wishes to express its deep sadness at the passing of South Africa’s greatest son.

As an organization primarily concerned with the welfare of women and children, we admired his sincere concern for the safety, up-liftment and education of the children of this country.

 
His concerns for the well being of women, children, education and elimination of poverty resonate with everything that we stand for as a women’s movement and as South Africans .

 
We pray that the ideals for which he stood , and for which he was prepared to die, will be a lasting legacy for this and future generations to come.
