‘With our nation at war with a murderous barbaric enemy, I doubt whether there would be many Jews with pure emotions who would be interested in the present goings-on at these awards. I, for one, am certainly not. As a matter of fact, on reading some of the extracts of speeches made by some participants on the \”Broomberg\” saga, actually made me sick to the stomach.
