A team of former Bloemfonteiners, led by Trevor Wasserman, took the initiative and organised a “Charity Reunion Party” in Sandton to help raise awareness of the plight of the Bloemfontein community, as well as to reconnect Bloemfonteiners from far and wide.

It was a very well-attended event with visitors from as far afield as the US, Israel, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Johannesburg, attending.

The audience was entertained by Chazzan Ezra Altschuler and young singing sensation, Shmuli Brill.

The evening was a great success and much needed funds were raised for the Bloemfontein community.
