Board gets Johannesburg election debate going

In the lead up to the local government elections in August, says the SAJBD at Beyachad, they will be hosting what they have aptly dubbed a “#JoburgElections2016 panel” next Wednesday.

The panel discussion will be chaired by prominent journalist Many Wiener and the elite panelists include Johannesburg mayor Parks Tau (one of the few ANC mayors who remain as candidates on the ANC list), Herman Mashaba (DA mayoral candidate), Mosiuoa Lekota (president of Cope), and Steven Swart (senior leader, ACDP).

For those who can attend, it will be held at Beyachad in Elray Street, Raedene, at 19:30 on Wednesday June 29.

The Board has made a facility available for those who can’t attend but wish to pose questions for one or more of the candidates – simply email your question to joburgelections2016@gmail.com – ask it clearly and concisely, and don’t forget to say to whom you are addressing the question.
