Chanukah is for sharing, here’s Chabad’s programme

Chabad House, as always, has an extremely active programme planned over Chanukah – which starts this Wednesday evening and ends next Wednesday. In Joburg they have events from Glenhazel to Savoy to Sandton and Norwood. 
 
They will even have a Jewish unity and pride event at Sandton City. Let’s see if they bring in the fire department again to light their big beast…

It all kicks off Wednesday with ONE GREAT PARTY in Glenhazel on Wednesday where SAJR Online will be LIGHTING A VIRTUAL CANDLE daily as well as publishing eight of the most popular Chanukah videos of 2013, starting with the Maccabeats on Wednesday.

Wednesday Evening 27 November

Chabad House invites you to join the party at KosherWorld for the First Night of Chanukah, and also celebrating the Fifth Birthday of Chai FM. Menorah lighting at 6:30pm Music, food, entertainment and lots of fun.

Chabad House invites you to join an event of Jewish unity and pride at The Rivonia Road entrance to Sandton City.

A huge car parade will be followed by a Children’s programme at 5:30pm including Menorah making, Olive press, Bands and a raffle.
