Grade R YC learners Michelle Fine some of her hair to DL Link to aid cancer sufferers

Incredible act of Chesed by little Michelle

Grade R Yeshiva College pupil, Michelle Fine, last week donated an amount of her hair to DL Link, an organisation that helps cancer sufferers.

Michelle had wanted to cut her hair for some time and decided that rather than throw her hair away, she would pass it on for the benefit of others, specifically a child with cancer who would need a wig after experiencing hair loss from treatment.

She needed to grow her hair to a certain length before being able to donate it and, through absolute selflessness, patiently allowed this to happen.

“We are both touched and inspired by this incredible act of Chesed on the part of a five-year-old child,” says her teacher.
