Chief: Indaba IV impact is wider than before
Impacting much wider sector of the community than ever before Chief Rabbi told SAJR Online in an exclusive interview yesterday.

These “leaders and thinkers and not just brilliant speakers,” said Rabbi Goldstein, “but also people of real substance and who do real work in world Jewry.”
For this reason the Sinai Indaba team had decided to encourage the sharing of skills between the speakers and the wider Jewish community.

Come Shabbos the speakers will be fanning out among different Joburg Shuls, as always. And they have spoken at Jewish schools as well.

But, says the Chief Rabbi, they have also engaged with communal organisations in their individual areas of specialisation. These have included the SAJBD, the CSO, UOS, and other communal organisations.

Rabbi Goldstein sees “big communal benefits” which will touch on many more lives than just the 4,000-plus expected for the Joburg event and the 2,000-plus in Cape Town and beyond.
