Mazeltov to Isla. Editor Bev Goldman is excited about the new SAJR Online site and a future digital partnership
ANT KATZ
FedSpeak is a monthly insert into the Jewish Report, and has as its focus the activities of the Zionist associations of South Africa as well as a myriad of fascinating news and information about Israel. Most of it is good news, although the occasional difficult and uncomfortable article creeps in – such is the nature of the Middle East beast.
Editor Bev Goldman is so excited about the new SAJR Online site. “Congratulations to the new Jewish Report Online, with which the SAZF FedSpeak is proud to be associated. We wish it much and continued success in the future,” says Bev.
FedSpeak is available in hard copy coming together with the Jewish Report every month. “But this month’s edition is now be linked, archived and searchable both on the SAJR Online website and on Google,” says Bev.
“We hope that our readers will take advantage of this new and exciting format,” says FedSpeak editor Bev Goldman. All comments, suggestions and (mild!) criticisms are valued and will receive appropriate responses.
FedSpeak’s regular competitions start next year, says Bev, so watch this space for details.
Some of the highlights in the easily downloadable/printable free eight-page newspaper this month include:
- SAZF’s 2014 exciting programme –something for everyone throughout the year!
- Israel’s emigration rate among lowest in developed world
- Israeli aid is flowing to Syrian refugees
- Really good news Israel
- Israel signs agreement with EU space agency
- First Syrian baby born in an Israeli hospital
- Bringing Israeli technology to Kenyan farming
