Gratitude to Joburg Chev for care during COVID-19

Published

At Golden Acres, we have just received our vaccines against COVID-19. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest thanks and gratitude to the Johannesburg Chevrah Kadisha. The Chev has now administered well over a thousand doses to all residents and staff in all of its facilities, free of charge.

As residents of Golden Acres for the past 12 years, and the parents of our late daughter, who resided at the Selwyn Segal Hostel for 13 years, there can never be enough words to express our sincere gratitude to the organisation that is the Joburg Chev.

Each member of staff (past and present), serves a “holy” purpose. The welfare of each resident of every facility has always been the top priority of the management and staff. From a personal perspective, all these amazing people have been magnificent, especially during these trying times of the COVID-19 epidemic. May the entire staff (and all the donors) of the Chevrah Kadisha enjoy Hashem’s richest blessings. They are most deserving.

Grateful and deserving recognition to the Chev. Beautifully expressed. I have a cousin at Sandringham Gardens who had a sister at Selwyn Segal. They both felt the same way. The warmth and caring of the Chev. Gratitude and appreciation must be expressed for all those people for whom the Chev cares and has cared.
