Hatzolah gets a 10 out of 10 score
MARC HUMMEL
The Hatzolah crew was there within three minutes of being called and spent a long time trying to resuscitate this man. They all seemed to work together as a team and did their utmost to save him.
When after a long time, it became clear that they could not save him, the Hatzolah team handled this with the utmost dignity. The respect they showed for the deceased and the complete lack of any sort of discrimination on their part was amazing.
They placed the body gently and carefully under a blanket, and moved the deceased man to the side of the road. They then moved their ambulance to the side of the road, purposely blocking the deceased from the view of the gathering onlookers.
When the spouse of the deceased arrived at the scene, again they handled this with such respect and dignity, breaking the news to her and then moving her behind the ambulance so that she could grieve privately.
It was unfortunate that the person passed away, but I feel that the Hatzolah team is an absolute asset to the community at large and we can be extremely proud of them.
