Among those in attendance were Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein, Rabbis Yossy Goldman, Dovid Hazdan, David Masinter and numerous other rabbonim.

Yoni was well-known as a humble and generous man who assisted people in need, but always discreetly.

RIGHT: The grave-marker reads as follows: PN (Po Nikbar – ‘here is buried’) Yonatan Eitan ben Eliezer. Tiyeh nishmatoh tsrurah bitzror achayim (‘may his soul be bound in the abundance of life’).

He was always supportive of Jewish community media as he believed is was an essential element in binding local and Israeli Jewry.

  • Footnote: I will personally miss my regular interactions with Yoni during the last year where I learned to respect Yoni’s flair for creative marketing and design expertise for advertising campaigns for Mooz Brothers – Roni Lea.

‘There are no words to express the sadness, it was an honor to have worked so closely with Yoni for many many years. He will be sorely missed by us all’
