INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL – are we prisoners in South Africa
It’s time to start making December holiday plans ️, – but who will have us? On Sunday at 20:00, we examine how we can still explore the world .
Dr Anton Meyberg – physician and pulmonologist, will explain the risk we pose to other countries, and whether South Africa should close its borders to travellers from India, Brazil, and Turkey.
Kim Kur – founder and lead volunteer of Community Circle Home SA will give advice on travel to the UK, Canada, USA, and Australia, as well as what countries can be used as a “green” transit stop to avoid quarantine.
Liat Amar Aran- head of the Israel Centre in South Africa.
Shirley Yutal Maftsir – the Israeli Consul in Pretoria, will answer questions about travel to and from Israel, aliyah, and vaccinations.
Roz Bukris – El Al general manager of southern and eastern Africa, will speak about the likelihood of future flights to and from Israel.
