Israeli experts help emerging farmers
ANT KATZ
Last week SABC2 ran a 20-minute feature on the “Israel-South Africa agriculture partnerships Living Land” programme. The show, mostly in vernacular with sub-titles, is all about the help Israel is giving to emerging farmers in South Africa. The programme is an eye-opener and features Ambassador Arthur Lenk, agricultural expert Isaac Isaac and others.
The video-makers travel the length and breadth of South Africa meeting farmers from across South Africa who are using Israeli technology and financial assistance to improve their yields and income.
The film features the Embassy Mashav (International Development and Cooperation) director, Isaac Isaac as well as the Ambassador and others. And, of course, many of the farmers who express their gratitude for Israel’s bountiful largesse.

‘I wonder how long BDS/COSATU/PSC et al will allow this to continue?
Remember how Steven Friedman and Salim Valli vlainously destroyed UJ’s water purification jint project with Ben Gurion University’

‘Gary, that is EXACTLY what is needed! Practical, Israel-aided socio-economic development on SA soil; the uplifting and empowering of communities. It is a humanitarian aid process which no anti-Israel entity can possibly stop. Besides, powerful independent legal forces are currently being marshalled to protect public and private rights in SA. ‘
