It’s fun learning the alphabet at Sydenham
SUE BENJAMIN
What an interesting way to begin a new year! The children at Sydenham Pre-school in Johannesburg were introduced to the alphabet through the rhyme Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
This is a great opportunity to promote auditory skills, especially auditory discrimination. All activities centred on this theme and the children enjoyed reciting the rhyme and creating collaborative art projects in the classroom.
