Jewish Achievers awards attract business high-flyers
The judging for the prestigious business awards, an integral part of the Jewish Achievers Awards, took place throughout this past Sunday. It was an inspiring day for all involved, given the overwhelmingly high quality of the candidates, which judges collectively praised for their energy, creativity and dedication in building their companies and making them fly.

Under the watchful eye of auditor Garron Chaitowitz, from Grant Thornton, who oversaw the process, the judges were entrepreneur Steven Blend, director of Alpha Holdings (Pty) Ltd; chairman of Exxaro Resources, Dr Len Konar, who describes himself as a serial businessman; head of Government and International Affairs at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Geoff Rothschild; and Absa’s head of retail, Banie Claasen.
The winners will be announced at the Jewish Achievers Awards on Sunday, August 24, in a glittering black-tie function at VodaWorld in Midrand.
