www.thejc.com World-renowned Jewish sculptor Sir Anthony Caro, known as the father of mobile art, died after suffering a heart attack. He was 89. Though Caro is usually a Sephardi name, in fact Sir Anthony’s great-grandfather was a rabbi who came from Poland.

Born Lewis Allan Reed in Brooklyn, New York, to a Jewish family, Reed was 71.
