‘Man attacked in Sweden for hanging Israeli flag on window’
A 38-year-old man was attacked in Malmo, Sweden for hanging an Israeli flag on his window. The assailants smashed the man’s window, chased him from his building, wielding iron pipes. Police are treating the attack as a hate crime and ‘aggravated assault’.

‘Israel okays call-up of additional 40 000 combat reservists’
Israel’s Cabinet approved the call-up of 40 000 additional combat reservists, in an effort to stop a rocket barrage on southern Israel. Also, the Tel Aviv municipality has said it will check and open public bomb shelters as Hamas threatened on its public websites it would fire rockets at the city.

‘No doubt Hamas will try to target Tel Aviv next, says senior IDF official’
Israel launched a series of airstrikes on Gaza militants early on Tuesday, dubbing the offensive ‘Operation Protective Edge’. More than 50 targets were hit in the offensive. According to the IDF, eight projectiles were launched been 02:00 and 06:00.
