KDL’s Israel tour on Tu B’Shvat

King David Linksfield High School celebrated Tu B’Shvat on 10 February by setting up different stations representing the beauty of Israel.

At the Jerusalem station, written notes could be sent to the Kotel; at the Dead Sea, packs of salt were handed out with information about the area; a Jewish National Fund (JNF) stand collected money to be sent to Israel to plant trees in the name of King David; a “mocktail” stand gave out fruit and juice to celebrate Tu B’Shvat; and lastly, a dried peach fruit station allowed pupils to help themselves to dried fruit for Tu B’Shvat.
