Many people in the community wanted to help make a difference to the soldiers’ lives and show support. The request from “The Friends of the IDF” was to pack a parcel containing toiletries and anything else they would appreciate, as well as write a personal letter to a soldier.
King David Victory Park Campus (high, primary and pre-primary schools) wanted to show its support. The response from the schools was overwhelming.
We have collected over 1 000 parcels and letters to send to the soldiers serving in Gaza. The initiative was organised by “The Friends of the IDF” with El Al delivering the parcels by the end of the week.
