King’s skewed view on Israel ignores world tragedies
Gary Selikow
If only King and JVJP would practise what they preach! One of the prominent members of JVJP in the United Kingdom practised vile racism based on the country a child was born in. Cambridge academic Marsha Levine, a prominent member of JVJP, refused to help an Israeli 13-year-old girl with questions about horses, simply because the child was Israeli.
If that is not racism and hate, I don’t know what is.
Dr Levine, who completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge’s Department of Archaeology before taking up a research posts at Columbia University and Syracuse University in New York, told The Telegraph that if a school learner from a different country had got in touch with her to ask about horses, she would have responded differently.
While we all condemn the racist comments made by (disgraced former estate agent) Penny Sparrow regarding black people, where is the condemnation by King of her comrade in the BDS movement, Port Elizabeth lawyer Maureen Jansen for calling for all Israelis and Jews who are not anti-Zionist to be “exterminated”?
By focusing exclusively on condemning Israel and supporting the Palestinians, King and JVJP prove their utter contempt for victims of much greater human rights abuses and atrocities such as the Kurds, Tibetans, citizens of Darfur, Christians across the Muslim world, victims of Mugabe’s reign of terror in Zimbabwe, victims of gender violence in Islamic regimes, etc.
Their sole focus on all the Palestinians prove they think all these other people are worthless and not deserving of a voice or support.
As Barry Shaw, in his book “Israel Reclaiming the Narrative”, puts it: “Why have you not expressed your outrage for other far more critical human rights disasters as I have done. I understand you like political adventurism, like flotillas to free Gaza.
“Why have you not joined a flotilla to feed and care for the thousands of dying children in Africa? … what is it about the Palestinians that gets your juices flowing over all other humanitarian tragedies? Could it be that you cannot incriminate Israel in human rights crimes perpetrated in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia. Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Burma, Russia, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Kurdistan, Cuba… so these abusive regimes do not get you emotionally involved?”

‘Well said Gary. These JVJP people are a bunch of hypocrites and most are pseudo intellectuals .
Perhaps its the attention that they crave when they say to people \” WE ARE JEWS BUT WE HATE THEM JUST LIKE YOU DO\”.
In fact, these excuses for humans are a disgrace to humanity.
