Nominate achievers before it’s too late
This is the last week to nominate outstanding individuals for the Absa Jewish Achiever Awards 2022.
You have until 16 September at 17:00. Nominate now. Don’t lose this opportunity.
We’ve all experienced that gnawing feeling at the pit of your stomach when the awards are announced and you know that the person who should be receiving it isn’t doing so because you didn’t quite get to nominate them.
Don’t let that be you this year. Make a point of finding the time and doing it this week so that it’s done and you can relax in the hope that your nominee wins.
Then, of course, you can vote online for them and get others to do the same.
As it stands, by Tuesday this week, we have received more than 600 nominations for all nine categories. This is a record number of nominations at this point in the run-up to the awards ceremony.
Interestingly, there has been a particular increase in the number of nominations in the entrepreneurial category. Perhaps this is because more and more people are starting up their own businesses since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nominate now on bit.ly/jaa2022nominate, and then book a table at bit.ly/jaa2022book to ensure that you’re at the coalface when your nominee goes to accept his or her award.
