Jewish Report Online has been keeping our SA and international users abreast of developments since the tragic news of Madiba’s passing on Thursday night. And we will continue to keep local and world Jewry posted.

And it seems like the more content we post on Madiba and SA Jewry, Israel and world Jewry, the more our regular users are following us – and, many new ones are coming on too.

GRAPH, RIGHT: As can be seen from this pie chart, 36 percent of visits to www.sajr.co.za over the Past three days have emanated from US users – the first time in the website’s short life that SA users have been unceremoniously kicked off their top-spot

Between Friday and mid-day Sunday SAJR Online had more visitors from the USA than from South Africa itself – although the number of pages visited and time-on-site statistics for South Africa users have been staggering.

South Africans as a whole have averaged six minutes 26 seconds.

GRAPH, RIGHT: Although SA users weren’t in first place in numbers, they sure made up for it in their depth of visit figures – with an average visit of 6’26” and returning visitors averaging almost 8 minutes!
