Owing to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, Riley was this year presented with her award at an online awards assembly hosted by the school on 1 June.
“The support of my school, my fellow team mates, and my family and friends helps me to strive and achieve,” she says. “When I first started swimming, I didn’t take training seriously, but over the years, this support has helped me to push harder and be more disciplined. To be rewarded with these medals for something I love makes it all worth it.”
