Sandton Sinai supports DL Link

The children took part in a tandem initiative by DL Link, the cancer support group, called “turn the ribbon around”.

The children drew pictures on the  inverted ribbon that has two symbolic meanings. The top of the ribbon is shaped like a “V”, which stands for victory, and celebrates (cancer) warriors who have conquered cancer. The bottom of the ribbon is in the shape of a teardrop. It represents tears and sadness for all the warriors who have lost the battle with cancer.

Their artwork will not only enhance the spiritual experience of the team running on 15 March in the Jerusalem Marathon, but they will then be taken to the Kotel on behalf of the children.
