Superb academic is new KDVPHS campus headmaster

Born in Cape Town in1965, he attended Sea Point Boys Primary and High Schools.
He did an honours and a masters degree in botany at UCT and completed a post-graduate teaching qualification in his 10th year at UCT, with his first teaching post at Camps Bay High School.
He was a founder teacher of the first Reddam House School in 2000 in Constantia, Cape Town and he moved to Johannesburg in 2004.
He was appointed head of department biology/life sciences at St Stithians Boys College and later became deputy headmaster in charge of the academic programme.
He was appointed headmaster of Redhill High School in 2010 and remained there for six years.
On his appointment, Baker said: “I have admired the work ethic and the excellent academic results that the children of the King David Schools achieve and I feel absolutely privileged to have been given the opportunity to work with this community.”
