This shame and guilt is not ours

The victim is here accused of the crimes which have been perpetrated upon him. That we were murdered throughout our history by other religionists is a travesty not of our cause but a reflection on cruel and stupid regimes which gave rise to the Crusades and the Inquisition.
Do you know what horrors these religionists carried out in these pursuits? The shame and guilt is not ours.
I hope your assessment of the ravages of assimilation is incorrect. Is this going to result in those who assimilated becoming part of other religions? Does this then become a part of the solution, or of the problem?
I also can’t be called religious, so this is not my agenda, but surely, Bogacz…
