Jewish Report readers and 101.9 ChaiFM listeners stand a chance to win an almost entirely home-based “PERSONALISED FAMILY FITNESS PACKAGE” worth well over R20 000 over a period of six months.
A wide array of reasons stand between many a Jewish family and their formally (in clubs, at events or gyms) practicing their personal fitness. Whether these are observance-related issues, communal involvement, work pressure or simply the high cost of being Jewish, it is common to see community members maintaining their fitness privately – usually by running, cycling or in a home gym.
Training without peer or expert advice, however, leaves one in danger of either doing one’s body damage, or of not optimising the effort one puts into best achieving the desired effect.
Sound the Shofar
