It all started with Daniel Brouze – who was determined to help raise money to buy a new bus for Jewish senior citizens, as well as for the people of Malatjlie.

It didn’t take too muich persuasion to put together a group of 56 riders to take part in last weekend’s 94.7 cycle race. But who would have expected them to raise a staggering quarter of a million rand for Miracle Drive too?

Each rider was given a choice as to which project they wanted their money to go. A quarter of a million rand was raised for Chabad’s Miracle Drive!
“As we ride through the journey of life, we dare not solely focus on ourselves. We all need to help wherever we can. For me, this has certainly been a life-changing experience”, said Brouze.

‘My gran attends the seniors program at Chabad every day. She loves Rabi Kivman and the classes he teaches. It’s amazing how they have a dedicated driver and bus which fetches the seniors so loveingly daily. She always tells me about the delicious food they get and even more to take home, the Torah study, memory classes, trips and even giving ythem iPads to learn in. It’s really incredible! Most amazing is that it’s free, well done Chabad!’
